4-H/FFA LIVESTOCK SHOW AND AUCTION
Wetzel County's 4-H and FFA Livestock Club is comprised of approximately 70+ 4-H and FFA members. Every year, the youth decide what kind of livestock project they want to raise and learn about for the show and sale at Town and Country Days.
Depending on what kind of animal the child chooses, he or she may get that animal as early as October or as late as June. Livestock includes: yearling goat - started in October of the previous year; market steer - started in November of the previous year; feeder calf age of 7 months; market spring kid and market lamb; and pen of three rabbits.

The Town and Country Days prince and princess contest will be held Monday the start of Town and Country fair week at the Wetzel County 4-H Grounds. The competition will be open to boys and girls ages 3 to 6. The deadline for registration will be July 31, and no late entries will be accepted.
