7 Reasons to Enter a Pageant
MISS TOWN & COUNTRY DAYS PAGEANT and OTHER CONTESTS
This years Queen will represent Town & Country Days at the State Fair & Festivals Pageant in Charleston, WV in January. The queen must be available for appearances the entire week of Town and Country Days Fair.
Miss Town & Country Days contestants must be a resident of Wetzel County including the entire community of Paden City, between the ages of 16-21 as of September of current year. She cannot be married and must stay unmarried throughout her reign. She also cannot be pregnant or have been pregnant. For more rules and regulations please review the application.
This year’s Queen will receive a monetary prize, a crown, a sash, a plaque, flowers and gift bag the night of the competition. Then an additional clothing allowance for the state pageant. After her reign is fulfilled she will be given an additional monetary gift.
There will be a 1st runner up, 2nd runner up and 3rd runner up. Each of them will receive flowers, sash, plaque, and gift bag. Also there will be Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic awarded. There are four phases of competition: Interview, Promotion, Evening Gown and Final Question.
Teen 13-15 pageant has the same rules and regulations. However they only have three phases of competition: Interview, and Final Question. Pre-Teen 10-12 and Little Miss 7-9 pageants have the same rules and regulations. However they will only have two phases of competition Street Wear and Final Question. The queen in the Teen, Pre-Teen and Little Miss will receive a crown, plaque, flowers, sash, gift bag and cash award. There will only be a 1st runner up for Teen, Pre-Teen and Little Miss and she will receive a sash, flowers, plaque and gift bag. Question. There is an entry fee that must be paid with a money order only and submitted with the application, for all the age groups. In return each girl will receive a week's pass to the fair. The pageant will be held on Monday the start of Town and Country fair week at the Wetzel County 4-H Grounds. PRINCE AND PRINCESS CONTEST

The Town and Country Days prince and princess contest will be held Monday the start of Town and Country fair week at the Wetzel County 4-H Grounds. The competition will be open to boys and girls ages 3 to 6. The deadline for registration will be July 31, and no late entries will be accepted. PRETTY BABY CONTEST

This year the baby contest is open to any child in the age group of newborn to 3 years old that lives in West Virginia. All Contestants must be pre-registered. Contestants will be dressed in play wear only.
Registration at 11:00 a.m. at the Mollohan Center.
This year, there will not be just one winner in each age group but there will be seven winners. There will be seven categories in each age group
- 0-6 Months
- 7-12 Months
- 13-24 Months
- 25-30 Months
- 31-36 Months
